On Saturday, 21 December 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Kuršių street, at the junction with Jotvingių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
