On Tuesday, 16 September 2014, in the evening at 17:30, in Kaunas, on Kuršių street, at the junction with Jotvingių street, a Volkswagen Transporter hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 13-year-old pedestrian, who failed to obey traffic-control signals. The driver was sober.
