On Saturday, 7 June 2014, in the morning at 5:40, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 57.80), a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Russia) (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
