On Saturday, 29 August 2020, in the afternoon at 11:40, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 57.80), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Nissan X-Trail, a DAF FT XF105 and a Schmitz SCS 24/L 13.62EB. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Nissan (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
