On Sunday, 14 September 2014, at night at 0:22, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 64.30), an Opel Vectra registered in Great Britain hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.02‰ blood alcohol).
