On Monday, 20 October 2014, in the evening at 17:25, in Kauno district municipality, Kumpių village, on Verslo street near No. 15, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 220 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Rover (19 years of driving experience), who violated traffic rules on motorways, failed to comply with road signs or markings and failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
