On Friday, 7 November 2014, in the evening at 17:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 7.75), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Renault Tracer, a Mercedes-Benz 308 and a Seat Ibiza. One person was injured — the 42-year-old driver of the Seat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Renault (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
