On Wednesday, 10 December 2014, in the evening at 20:15, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 5.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D registered in Latvia and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
