On Monday, 12 January 2015, in the evening at 18:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 10.40), a Volvo 850 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
