On Friday, 30 January 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 8), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Skoda (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
