On Saturday, 20 June 2015, in the evening at 21:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 113.39), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
