On Saturday, 4 July 2015, in the evening at 22:43, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 58.85), a BMW 325 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
