On Friday, 15 November 2019, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 58.80), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
