On Tuesday, 29 September 2015, in the evening at 18:19, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 140.38), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Galant and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
