On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the afternoon at 16:15, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 92), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D, a Ford Mondeo and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
