On Saturday, 5 December 2015, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with Birželio 23-iosios street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3, a Boro - and a Merceron. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
