On Friday, 22 April 2016, at night at around 3:00, in Kauno district municipality, Babtų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 114), an Opel Zafira hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
