On Friday, 24 June 2016, in the afternoon at 15:15, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 292), a Skoda Superb registered in Belarus hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Skoda (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
