On Tuesday, 21 July 2020, in the afternoon at 15:26, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 288), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco Daily, a Tauras 700-02 and a Mercedes-Benz 609. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Iveco (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
