On Friday, 5 August 2016, in the evening at 17:15, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant and an Alfa Romeo 156. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Audi (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
