On Friday, 2 December 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the MAN (38 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
