On Sunday, 4 December 2016, in the morning at 5:55, in Prienų district municipality, Grigaliūnų village, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 31), a DAF XF 95.430 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the DAF (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
