On Friday, 21 April 2017, in the afternoon at 12:10, in Kaunas, on Gimnazijos street near No. 3, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 207 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 77-year-old driver of the Peugeot (45 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
