On Thursday, 7 December 2017, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 88.88), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Honda Jazz, a Schmitz Cargobull S.CS24-13.62 registered in Poland and a DAF FT 105XF460 registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Honda (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
