On Wednesday, 28 March 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 91.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Vito 110 and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
