On Saturday, 28 April 2018, at night at 23:29, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Aleksandrija–Ginkūnai national road (kilometre 2.20), an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol).
