On Wednesday, 13 September 2023, in the afternoon at 14:10, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Aleksandrija–Ginkūnai national road (kilometre 1.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Verso, a Bazaltas 3-3,5, a Renault Master and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Toyota (45 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
