On Friday, 15 June 2018, in the morning at 6:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 7), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Langendorf, a MAN and an Opel Astra. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Langendorf (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
