On Monday, 17 June 2019, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 103), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Mercedes-Benz Actros. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (17 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
