On Sunday, 21 July 2024, in the morning at 10:25, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 103), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
