On Monday, 26 August 2019, in the evening at 20:20, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 25.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5er Reihe and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
