On Thursday, 1 April 2021, at night at 0:50, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 23.40), an Audi A6 Avant rolled over. One person was injured — a 39-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
