On Monday, 17 February 2020, in the morning at 8:36, in Šilalės district municipality, Prapymo village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 243), a DAF registered in Poland ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
