On Saturday, 21 March 2020, in the afternoon at 13:56, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 221), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Honda CBR 1000RR and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 211 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Honda (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
