On Friday, 22 May 2020, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 6.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Auris and a Mercedes-Benz S 320 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Toyota (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
