On Monday, 8 June 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 107), a Seat Altea ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Seat (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
