On Wednesday, 13 January 2021, in the evening at 18:35, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 91), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
