On Friday, 23 April 2021, at night at around 3:00, in Telšių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 69.50), a collision with barriers occurred. The accident involved an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
