On Tuesday, 24 August 2021, in the evening at 18:20, in Kaunas, on Vakarinis aplinkl. street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT 95.400 registered in Russia, a Toyota Corolla Verso and a Kromhout 3AO 12 27 registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the DAF (4 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
