On Wednesday, 21 December 2022, in the morning at 9:40, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 47, at the junction with Breslaujos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Altea XL and a truck. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Seat (23 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
