On Sunday, 14 May 2023, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Utenos district municipality, on Užpalių street near No. 3, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a BMW F 650 GS. One person was injured — the 32-year-old driver of the BMW F 650 GS (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW 320D (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
