On Saturday, 20 July 2024, in the evening at 20:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 114.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
