On Saturday, 6 September 2014, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on M. K. Čiurlionio street near No. 5, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Mazda Premacy and an Aprilia Mojito 50 Custom. One person was injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mazda (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. The 22-year-old driver of the Aprilia had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
