What data we collect
  • Account data: when you create an account — first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number and password (stored hashed). An account is not required to use the public map.
  • Login session: once signed in, a technical session cookie is used.
  • Saved accidents: if you are signed in, the accidents you save are linked to your account.
  • Technical data: server logs may record your IP address, browser type and request time — to keep the site secure and working.
  • Analytics and advertising: only with your consent — Google Analytics and (in future) Google Ads cookies. See the cookie policy.
Purposes and legal basis
  • Account creation and sign-in — performance of a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Site security, abuse prevention and logs — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics and advertising cookies — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data. The following providers may process data on our behalf:

  • our hosting provider — for servers and the database;
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — for analytics and advertising, only with consent;
  • map providers (CARTO, Esri, geoportal.lt) — map tiles load directly from their servers, so they receive your IP address; this is necessary to display the map.
Data retention

We keep account data for as long as you have an account; when it is deleted, the data is removed. Server logs are kept for a limited period. Your cookie-consent record lasts until you change or withdraw it.

Transfers outside the EU

When Google services are used, some data may be processed in the US. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
