On Friday, 17 October 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 90.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
