On Wednesday, 3 December 2014, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 90.80), a Renault Laguna hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
