On Saturday, 17 January 2015, in the evening at 20:02, in Šilalės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 208.72), a Mercedes-Benz 1840 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
