On Thursday, 21 June 2018, in the evening at 22:15, in Šilalės district municipality, Bardžių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 208.50), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW 325 registered in Latvia and a Renault Megane registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident.
