On Thursday, 21 June 2018, in the evening at 22:15, in Šilalės district municipality, Bardžių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 208.50), a traffic accident occurred. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Renault (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
