On Friday, 23 January 2015, in the afternoon at 11:40, in Raseinių district municipality, Žaiginio town, on Sandravos street near No. 22, a Volkswagen Vento ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
