Audi driver flees after hitting a pedestrian at a crossing on Taikos street, Vilnius
On Tuesday, 24 February 2015, in the evening at 20:05, in Vilnius, on Taikos street near No. 146, an Audi A8 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 78-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Audi (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
